About Us | Solution Minds Consulting | SMC

Bringing Independence to Transformation

Solution Minds Consulting is an independent, client-side advisory firm supporting organisations through complex digital, enterprise software and AI-enabled transformation.

We work with senior leaders who are accountable for outcomes, not just delivery. Leaders who need clarity where there is uncertainty, structure where there is complexity, and decisions that will stand up to scrutiny long after the project has finished.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, delivery and governance. We help organisations move forward with confidence, protect their commercial interests, and ensure transformation delivers real, measurable value.

To enable your digital transformation; modernise, streamline, transform.

To ensure your ERP or digital transformation project is a success.

Our Story

Solution Minds Consulting was established in 2006 in response to a problem that still exists today: organisations investing heavily in ERP and enterprise systems, yet seeing too many programs fail, stall, or fall short of their promised outcomes.

At the time, the market was dominated by software vendors, partner-aligned advisors and large consulting firms that sat on both sides of the table. Independence was rare. Commercial protection was secondary. And clients were often left carrying the risk.

SMC was built differently. We are engineered from the ground up to work exclusively client-side.

From the beginning, our focus has been on helping organisations prepare properly, make objective decisions, and retain control throughout transformation. Not just selecting systems, but aligning people, process, technology and data so change is adopted and contributes to the desired outcomes.

Over nearly two decades, we’ve supported 750+ transformation programs across Australia and New Zealand. We’ve seen what works, what fails, and why. That experience shapes everything we do today, from strategy and roadmaps, through selection and negotiation, to delivery governance and optimisation.

As transformation has evolved, so have we. Today, our work extends beyond ERP into AI, automation, data and operating model change, ensuring organisations modernise safely, responsibly and with purpose.
