THE CHALLENGE
Aeris Resources required advice on the execution phase of an ERP implementation, specifically specialised advice to assist with the project implementation plan, to ensure that the service provider addressed all the critical steps in their project plan. It was critical to adhere to the tight project timeline to ensure a successful implementation.

Throughout the project, we undertook to explain the very technical issues experienced throughout the process including the risks involved, proposed alternative steps, and reorganised action plans throughout the process to ensure that communications with the vendor remained focussed and on time. SMC also assisted in providing the framework for the UAT testing and a detailed plan for all users to ensure a smooth transition before going live.

We ensured that the project was delivered on time. There needed to be minimal impacts on the operational teams which is critical in a transition. Aeris Resources were greatly assisted with continuous stakeholder engagement throughout the process in the successful delivery of its ERP implementation.
