SMC is pleased to once again be supporting the Putt4dough charity golf day for 2021. Putt4dough is an annual event organised by the Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Alliance (WAITTA) and is a growing and recognised ICT Charity Golf Day on Perth’s calendar.
Putt4dough is now in its 13th year and all money raised goes to the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF), a worthy charity whose aim is to ensure sick WA children continue to receive world-class care and live their healthiest and happiest lives. You can find out more about the PCHF at its website.
Jamon Johnston, CEO at SMC says that his team is proud to be involved in a fun event that donates to such a worthwhile and important cause.
“SMC were involved in the event last year and it was good to be part of the day that raised a combined $54,000.”
“The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation do a wonderful job in helping sick children and their work cannot be underestimated, especially if you are a parent of a sick child in need of essential care, whether that is having the latest medical technology, undertaking medical research or through funding for therapies and programs”.
“It’s really rewarding, after spending a competitive day on the course, to finish up with the formal celebrations and for the event organisers to present the Foundation with a big cheque,” adds Mr Johnston.
The Putt4dough charity event takes place at the Joondalup Resort Country Club on Tuesday 23 November 2021.
